The Little Run Away Boy & His Loyal Dog   He packed his Granddad’s old suit case with all his favorite toys & with only the clothes on his back he set out with his loyal dog. The journey was the destination....for he didn't know where he was going. There was just an old steam train and miles of tracks to take him on his way.

	I've come here to let you all know that life in the big city is just too much for a curious little boy to handle so I've decided to take a secret trip to the wide open countryside. Mommy & Daddy don't know where I'm headed...shucks....they don't even know that I'm hittin' the road..just me and my loyal dog Rocky. You see, I'm kind of getting tired of taking trips with my Mommy & Daddy. Mommy dragged me along with her to Europe. Gosh, doesn't she know that Europe is for old people?!? With my luck they'll take me on another trip to Thailand...and I"ve already been there a million times. I need to find my own adventure! It's time that I spread my wings and set out in search of something fun. I want to be like Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn....those boys didn't bring along their Mommy & Daddy when they rafted down the Mississippi River or explored those Indian caves! The only way I'm gonna find that kind of adventure is on my own. So, last night I got a hold of my Granddad's old travel suitcase and packed it up with all my favorite toys. A boy should never leave home without his toys! Me and Rocky will probably head on down to the rail road tracks where we'll hitch a ride on a cargo car. Only the train conductor knows where I'm headed...me & Rocky don't even know that. I'll write again, just as soon as I'm able to figure out where we're goin' !
